Jako kilkuletni chłopiec ocalał z Holocaustu, przechowała go młoda Ukrainka. Wyjechał do Izraela i USA. Ale nieustannie powraca. W niedzielę (29.06) o tym wracaniu będzie można usłyszeć bezpośrednio od niego. I obejrzeć film “Powroty Szymona”. Niezwykła postać, Szymon Redlich, będzie gościem Ośrodka Pogranicze.

Spotkanie odbędzie się w podsejneńskiej Krasnogrudzie, w Międzynarodowym Centrum Dialogu. Szymonowi Redlichowi towarzyszyć będą filmowcy: Sławomir Grunberg i Katka Reszke, którzy nakręcili film “Powroty Szymona”. Spotkanie (początek godz. 19, wstęp wolny) poprowadzi Krzysztof Czyżewski z Ośrodka Pogranicze.

To właśnie Ośrodek ponad 10 lat temu wydał książkę Szymona Redlicha, pt. “Razem i osobno…

Together and Apart in Brzezany: Poles, Jews, and Ukrainians, 1919-1945″
